This is my finished entry for
's AutoShoujo Cover Contest.
[link]The goal of the contest is to take a a random title from a generator, imagine a manga or DVD with the title, then create a front and back cover for it, including a short synopsis of the story on the back.
I previously uploaded a pencil WIP of the front cover. It looked pretty good and I liked it, but DEAR MONKEYS the colored version smells something severe. :-:
I procrastinated and wound up not learning how to shade or make backgrounds. D:
But I still like the plot. It's the only good thing about my entry, so please acknowledge it~

Potatolon is a spunky android girl and a culinary genius. Nasukage is a cool ninja-in-training with a passion for fashion designing.
When these two rookies join forces, they create the ultimate flying two-in-one cake shop/boutique!
The only problem is, interaction between androids and ninjas is strictly forbidden!
Nevertheless, these two unlikely friends are willing to break the status quo to follow their dreams together. Traveling the world while baking and sewing is a noble adventure that will lead them to a bright future - as long as they fight off the interfering mechas, assassins, pirates, vampires, and attack monkeys~
